Colet is a family winery located in Pacs del Penedès, a small agricultural town in the center of the Alt Penedès region, in the province of Barcelona. The Colet family has worked in the fields and vineyards since 1783: the first 200 years as sharecroppers of the Hisenda Romaní farmhouse in Sant Martí Sarroca and, since 1984, as owners of the lands that their ancestors had worked for so many years. In 1992, Sergi Colet finished his oenology studies at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona, then moved to Reims and, in the important region of Champagne, he learned directly the technique of making sparkling wines. The Colet began to elaborate their own wines and cavas, taking advantage of the altitude (of about 200 meters) and the orientation of the vines, which favored the cultivation of local varieties such as Xarel·lo and foreign ones such as Pinot Noir, Riesling and Gewürztraminer.

Colet produces wine from its own 100% organic vineyards of Sant Martí Sarroca and Pacs del Penedès. Its sparkling wines, obtained with effort, perseverance, respect for nature and teamwork, are Clàssic Penedès quality: made with the traditional method, 100% Reserva and from the Denominación de Origen Penedès.
